Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Sigma Black Belt
This class teaches participants the Six Sigma process improvement
methodology and the application of tools associated with each (DMAIC)
phase and Lean.
Participants will lean:
- how to identify critical
inputs in a process
- how to improve the process to ensure that variation
is minimized
- ways to ensure that the process performs within the customer specified
parameters.
Black
Belt Tool set is modular and will be tailored to teach only
those skills your business values most. Additional tools can
be taught
in
a Just-In-Time model when your organization is ready
for advanced applications.
Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Sigma Green Belt
This class teaches participants the Six Sigma process improvement
methodology and the application of tools associated with each phase.
Green
Belt training is very similar to Black Belt training. Green Belt
candidates will manage smaller projects within their process area,
and will have
less emphasis on design of experiments.

Yellow Belt
This class introduces Six Sigma to process owners and operators who
act as Yellow Belt team members in Six Sigma projects. Six Sigma strategy
and methodology are introduced and participants learn to create detailed
process maps to increase the information available to Belts in their
projects. Participants learn the value of Six Sigma, gain detailed understanding
of their own processes and learn how to control and monitor their work
processes after completion of a Black Belt project.
Design for Six Sigma
Six Sigma tools were initially deployed for the improvement of existing
manufacturing or service processes. When new designs were introduced,
Black Belts often found themselves deploying similar solutions to similar
problems again and again. Deploying these solutions did not result
in a Six Sigma level of performance. A realization was made that Six
Sigma problem-solving techniques needed to be incorporated into the
design process.
Design For Six Sigma (DFSS) is used to design a new process, is used
when a process reaches entitlement and when redesign will be faster
and cheaper than problem solving.
This session will help participants implement a design process that
will ensure products or processes are Six Sigma capable from the
onset and that they meet all customer requirements and specifications.
Participants will learn how to use new tools associated with the
DMADV process.
